General Specifications:

  • Construction : The Dryer is fabricated from heavy gauge mild steel/Stainless steel.
  • Door : Heavy duty mild steel/stainless steel door fitted on a specially designed hinges. The door is secured to the dryer by (c) clamps. A neoprene / silicon gasket fitted in the door provides a leak proof joint.
  • Heating Shelves : M.S / S.S shelves with provision for heating fuild circulation is the shelves, fluid inlet and outlet connections of the heating coils extend outside the dryer. Material to be processed in trays is kept on the shelves. TRAYS; Trays are 32"X 16"X1 114 in size and are offered in aluminium or stainless steel.
  • Heating System : The fluid is heated by specially designed immersion heaters. The heaters can be removed for inspection or replacement without draining the system. An expansion tank is provided when the fluid used is oil. A suitable pump provides circulation of fluid form the heating system to the shelves in the dryer and back. Thermostat provides temperature control. Dial thermometer indicates temperature. Electrical switch gear is provided for automatic operation of the heaters and locking them with the fluid circulating pump. Pilot lamps indicate when the heaters are ON and the pump is working.

Evacuation System Comprises Of:

  • A vacuum pump run by a motor.
  • Isolation valve to isolate the dryer from the vacuum pump.
  • Vacuum break valve to break vacuum on completion of the process.
  • Vacuum gauge indicates vacuum condition inside the dryer. Maximum vacuum upto 28" hg.
  • Control Panel : All the controls, switchgear, indicating devices are fitted on a control panel which in turn is fitted on the front of the heating unit.
  • Condenser : For recovery of solvents, a shell and tube condenser and condensate separator is provided.
  • Finish : The Vacuum Dryer is finished in hammer tone grey or any colour of your choice or buffed to mirror matt finish is case of SS construction.
